StakeTruth with your permission collects the minimum data necessary to operate your account: name, email, and usage analytics. We never sell your personal data. Payment is processed by Paystack; we do not store card details. In clearer details:
Information We Collect
Account data. Your name, email address, country, and a hashed password when you register.
Usage data. Pages visited, predictions viewed, time on site, and browser and device information, collected through server logs and analytics.
Bet tracking data. The stake, odds, result, and notes you choose to enter in our bet tracking tool. These are all optional and entirely under your control.
Payment data. Payments are handled by Stripe or Paystack depending on the payment portal in use. We never see or store your full card number. We only receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details.
Communications. Anything you send us through the contact form, including your email address and enquiry messages.

Security

-Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text
-Payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors, so card data never touches our servers.
No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Age Restriction
StakeTruth is for users aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us support@staketruth.com and we will delete the account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will email registered users about material changes. By continuing to use StakeTruth after an update, you accept the revised policy.
